Below are the tennis challenge videos that our youth have demonstrated for you. We have tennis challenges for all age groups: red ball, orange ball, green ball, yellow ball, and footwork. You and your family try the challenges and post the videos on Facebook and tag us @grassrootstenniseducation. The tennis challenge ends Sunday, May 31st at 11pm. 

Red ball

Bump Ups: Bounce the ball up at least eye level without letting the ball touch the ground. See how many you can do in 30 seconds.

Goal: Donate and try to beat Ameer's 31

Green ball

Edges: Dribble the ball down at waist level using the edge of the tennis racket, then alternate and bounce the ball up using the face of the racket.
Attempt as many bounces as you can in 30 seconds.

Goal: Donate and try to beat Naomi 19

Orange Ball

Bump Ups with racket flips: Bounce the ball up at least eye level without letting the ball touch the ground. Each time you bounce it up, flip your racket and bump the ball up with the other face of the racket. See how many you can do in 30 seconds.

Goal: Donate and try to beat Maha's 27

Yellow Ball

Volley/Ground Stroke: 2 Players, one on each side of the net or tape. Start by doing 10 volleys up close at the net/tape. Then one player backs up to play a ground stroke as the other stays at the net to play a volley. Then switch alternating between a volley and a ground stroke. See how many you can do in 1 minute.

Goal: Donate and try to beat Faycal and David's 48.

Footwork Challenge

Quick feet: Shuffle around a tennis ball without going over the ball as fast as you can in 30 seconds. Count number of complete rotations in 30 seconds. Goal: Donate and try to beat Daniel's 25 complete rotations
