Free, year-round, high-quality tennis instruction -provides kids with a positive, fun way to stay healthy and active.
Competition
Supervised competition helps kids strive for their very best and learn how to win and lose graciously.
Travel
Opportunities to play in matches held at private clubs and other tennis organizations helps kids explore new environments and broaden their competition.
Grassroots is the Only free high-quality tennis instruction program for children living in urban communities in SOUTHERN Fairfield County.
Through Grassroots, kids in Stamford and Norwalk are becoming lifelong tennis players.
By the time most Grassroots student-athletes reach high school, they are playing on their school tennis teams and some are also working as Junior Coaches with Grassroots.
Their level of play is impressive: Since 2008, several Grasssroots Junior Tennis Teams have consistently reached the state and sectional championships.
