Our Play in May Adult Doubles Tournament & Point Play was a wonderful success!
Everyone came out to support Grassroots in a competitive and happy mood. The Doubles Men’s Tournament was held at various clubs while the Ladies Point Play was held at Tokeneke Club in Darien. Sponsorships were given to Grassroots Alumni & Students who participate in the Ladies Point Play! Everyone enjoyed the Grassroots Boys Exhibition Match while lunch was held at the Tokeneke Club
We were fortunate to be chosen as a chapter by La Roche-Posay and USTA Foundation Grant to host an event in May for Melanoma Monday, May 4th, and this Play in May event seemed perfect!
They supplied free samples, a Dr. on spot to perform free sunscreen evaluation with recommendations which was a very busy booth!. Rounding out this event was The Coast Brand providing a Shope-For Cause Pop up and Ani Fine Jewelry for donating the beautiful necklace for the Raffle!
